Job Summary: As an Experienced VW Automotive Technician at Shrewsbury Volkswagen, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Volkswagen vehicles. You will use your expertise to ensure that every vehicle is serviced to the highest standards, providing our customers with reliable and safe driving experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

· Diagnose and repair Volkswagen vehicles, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other complex systems.

· Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire installations, and alignments.

· Use Volkswagen-specific diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify and troubleshoot issues.

· Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for repairs.

· Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and to Volkswagen standards.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

· Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and recommended repairs.

· Keep up-to-date with the latest Volkswagen technology and service techniques.

· Mentor and assist junior technicians and apprentices as needed.

Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Volkswagen knowledge is a plus.

· Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.

· ASE certification(s) and/or Volkswagen-specific certifications are highly desirable.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

We are looking for an Automotive Apprentice Technician to join our team of professionals, to work in an airconditioned shop with multiple hoists per technician.

Job Description:

You will work closely with experienced technicians to learn and develop your skills.  This is an entry-level position designed to give you hands-on experience in the automotive industry.

You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

- Assisting senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.

- Learning to identify and fix mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicle systems.

- Performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

- Using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems.

- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Job Description:

As a Parts Counter Associate, you will be the go-to expert for Volkswagen parts and accessories, ensuring that our customers, both internal and external, receive the correct parts, quickly and with outstanding service. You will be responsible for contributing to the smooth operation of our parts department and our award-winning service department. Your expertise will help maintain the smooth operation of our parts department and contribute to maintaining our outstanding overall customer satisfaction.

You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

· Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts inquiries, orders, and needs, both in person and over the phone.

· Parts Identification: Use parts catalogs, computer systems, and technical knowledge to accurately identify and recommend Volkswagen parts and accessories.

· Order Fulfillment: Process parts orders, including special orders, returns, and exchanges. Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of all transactions.

· Inventory Management: Monitor parts inventory levels, conduct regular bin checks, and reorder parts as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the service department and sales team to ensure timely availability of parts and resolve any parts-related issues.

· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory, ensuring all paperwork and digital records are up-to-date and accurate

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in an automotive parts counter role is preferred, especially with Volkswagen or similar brands.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts, particularly Volkswagen parts and accessories.

Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, proficiency with parts catalogs and computer systems.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage inventory and process orders.

Team Orientation: Ability to work well within a team environment and contribute positively to the dealership's goals.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Volkswagen parts certification is a plus.
