My experience at Shrewsbury Motors, and particularly with Max Rolerson, was, by far, the most “customer friendly” I’ve had.  I have been a loyal “Chevy” customer for many years and had hoped to continue that trend while looking for a car for my wife.  I had called the local dealer where I purchased my last vehicle and was told that I would be called back as soon as they found a car that fit my budget.  I wasn’t called back for 2 weeks, and when I finally called them back, the salesman told me he had lost the paper my number was written on and that he was glad I called back (which I found odd being that I was an EXISTING CUSTOMER).  He also said that I would be very limited in my selection due to the fact I had a budget to stick to.  In the meantime, I saw a 2005 Passat Wagon that seemed perfect for my wife.  Within 2 days, Max had accomodated my budget requirements and had gotten me into a a beautifully maintained and kept 2005 VW.  During the “closing”, there was no pressure to add on extras that were redundant, nor was there any attemp of making me feel “less than” for needing to go with a used vehicle.  The financing was quick and painless and VW met 100% of my needs.  My experience dealing with Max and Shrewsbury Motors made me a convert.  I told Max when I picked up the car that I expect to stay with him when I need to look for my next vehicle.  I intend to stick to that promise!

As a recent customer of Shrewsbury Motors I would like to take the time to say how pleasant my experience was.  Every employee was very helpful and I was warmly greeted by everyone.  I will definitely be a repeat customer and will be sure to recommend this dealership to anyone that is in the market for a new car.

I am writing to inform you of my recent experience with Shrewsbury Motors and specifically Max Rolerson, Salesperson.

On Sunday evening, April 20, 2008, I was viewing car websites as my current lease was coming to a conclusion April 30, 2008.  I was not sure what I wanted to lease, but I had a few ideas.  As I went through the different sites, I was filling out the information forms so that someone would get back to me with information concerning the specific car I was interested in.  At approximately 10:30am on Monday, April 21, 2008, I received a phone call from Max Rolerson.

At that exact minute, I was on the computer trying to locate the closest Volkswagen dealer to me in Bayville, NJ.  No, Shrewsbury Motors was not the closest dealer to me, but because of Max’s professionalism and pleasant personality I decided to take the ride to Shrewsbury.  We discussed the exact car that I wanted all the way down to the interior and exterior colors.

I asked Max to have to car cleaned up, gassed up, and ready to go as I felt that confident after discussing the 2008 Volkswagen Eos with him that I would be leasing this vehicle.  Once I arrived, it turned out that the car I was intending to lease was just sold five (5) minutes earlier.  My luck!

Max assured me that he would help me find an Eos right then and there and not to worry.  Well, true to his word, he did.  I am now driving a 2008 Volkswagen Lux and love it.  I get compliments all the time and tell everyone where I got it and how courteous and helpful Max and all the staff were.

I also work with the public, and know that at times it can be a bit trying.  This is why I am writing.  It is not often that people take the time to write to compliment the people they have dealt with.  I want you to know that Max is a very professional and personable salesperson.  All of  the staff was very helpful and friendly.  Purchasing/leasing a vehicle can be difficult, but the staff made it a pleasant experience.

Back in December of 2008 I bought a VW Jetta from Shrewsbury Motors. Mr. Max Rolerson made my car purchasing experience quite a pleasant one. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rolerson to my family and friends.

The quality of service and stellar team at Shrewsbury Motors is no secret to anyone who has bought a car or had vehicle service there.
I guess I’ve purchased from a dozen car dealers in my life, and none even comes close to the friendly, honest, and helpful customer service at Shrewsbury Motors. My experience with Max Rolerson and the staff there lead to purchases by my sister, brother, mother, two sons, and daughter.
All had the same positive experience, and are thrilled with Max and the rest of the folks there. In a nut shell, we don’t go anywhere else for sales or service now that we have found Shrewsbury Motors.

After spending time at a handful of other dealerships working with Dennis Kelly was a pleasure.  He knew what I was looking for and made the entire process enjoyable.  The man knows his product and his straight forwardness certainly gained my and my friends future business.

My mother and I recently helped my younger sister purchase a car from Shrewsbury Motors.  We purchased a smaller, used car, clearly not the most profitable sale on the lot.  And yet, our sales person, J.T. Booker, spent a lot of time with us – negotiating and working through all the details – as though we were buying a top luxury model.  He was very professional, straightforward, and helpful with the details.
